Aurangabad, June 8:

The annual conference of Lions Clubs International, Multiple District 3234, was held online through video conferencing. In the conference, a senior member of the Aurangabad Lions family, and present Governor CA Vivek Abhyankar was elected as the multiple council chairperson.

Multiple district-3234 which includes the rest of Maharashtra except Mumbai has 4 provinces 3234D1, 3234D2, 3234H1, 3234H2. The selection process was carried out in a special meeting of the newly appointed governors of all the four provinces. Governor-elect Dilip Modi proposed the name while the other two members seconded it. The selection was announced by outgoing multiple council chairperson Girish Malpani. Newly appointed chairperson Abhyankar was felicitated by International Director Dr Naval Malu. CA Vivek Abhyankar, a member of Lions Club Aurangabad Metro, has done many laudable works in the stream of Lionism and has made the province proud. Renowned practitioner CA Vivek Abhyankar is an old colleague of Lokmat. Dr Naval Malu, Narendra Bhandari, Premchand Bafna, Girish Malpani have congratulated him on his selection.
