A cattle keeper was severely injured in a fight over petty reason. He died at the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) while undergoing treatment. The Dhangar Community staged demonstrations in front of the Mortuary at GMCH demanding to arrest the accused immediately and Rs 50 lakh aid and government job for the deceased''s kin. The senior officers consoled the agitators and finally they took the body of the decease in their possession. The incident prevailed tension for some time at the GMCH area.

According to the details, the cattle keeper, Karamdas Kaduba Joshi (38, Chincholi Shivar, Bhokardan, Jalna) was severely beaten by around 6 to 7 accused as his sheeps entered in their farm on October 4. He was severely injured and was admitted to the GMCH where he died on Wednesday while undergoing treatment.

On Thursday morning, his relatives and the Dhangar Community activists gathered at the GMCH and refused to take possession of the body. They demanded that the accused should be arrested immediately. The kins of the deceased should get the aid of Rs 50 lakh and government job. ACP, Hanumant Bhapkar, PI Sachin Sanap and PSI Pathan consoled the agitators after which, they took the possession of the body. Later, a delegation of the Dhangar Community submitted a memorandum to divisional commissioner in this regard.
