Aurangabad, Feb 17:

The divisional commissioner Sunil Kendrekar, the commissioner of police Nikhil Gupta and the municipal commissioner Astik Kumar Pandey today visited the police commissionerate to review the functioning of the Command Control Centre (CCC).

The Aurangabad Smart City Development Corporation Limited (ASCDCL) and Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) established the centre, equipped by the Master System Integrator (MSI), to keep a watch on the suspicious human and vehicle movements on the main and important roads in the city through 383 CCTV cameras. A video wall (screen) of 9x3 feet has been erected to view them.

The CCC was inaugurated by the state's environment minister Aditya Thackeray in the presence of the guardian minister Subhash Desai on January 16, stated the release.
