Aurangabad, Nov 15:

The temples closed due to the Corona crisis will be open for the devotees on Monday, on the occasion of Padwa, after 206 days. Hence, cleaning drives were launched at various temples in the city throughout the day.

Cleaning tasks were implemented under the guidance of the trustees at Varad Ganesh Mandir, Samarthnagar, Bhakti Ganesh Mandir, N-1, Cidco, Gajanan Maharaj Mandir, Garkheda and other temples today. The temples were washed with water. Similarly, the temple employees were given training for using thermal guns and sanitizers.

Safety guidelines for the devotees have been highlighted on a board at the Renukamata Mandir. Planning to let only 5 to 10 devotees in the temple at a time has been made. The Khandelwal Digambar Jain Panchayat Parshwanath Madir at Raja Bazar was also cleaned and decorated with attractive lights.

Most of the temples will be open for the devotees on Monday at 6 am, and various rituals including Abhisheks, Puja and Aarti will be conducted. An Aarti will be organized by the officials at Shri Ram Mandir at Kiradpura at 10 am.
