Colleges, departments asked to create profile online

Aurangabad, Nov 15:

The administration of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University asked the affiliated colleges and departments to provide all information from numbers of students to teaching and non-teaching staff members on or before November 30.

There are 420 colleges in Aurangabad, Jalna, Beed and Osmanabad districts with the intake of four lakh students. The university provides online facility like online test, admission process, declaration of the result, availability of degree.

However, the university does not get information like the number of students, teaching and staff members, infrastructure, facilities from the colleges on time. If the information is made available online, both university and colleges will be able to get all the required information quickly.

In a letter issued to colleges and university, the academic department stated that there sections which need to be filed. The sections included ‘college profile, library, employee profile, research, infrastructure, placement and documents.

The last date of making information available online is November 30.
