Aurangabad, Nov 20:

The administration had asked all petrol pumps in the city to refuse service to customers who visit their outlets without wearing masks. However, ignoring this mandate, petrol is being given to motorists who do not wear masks. Even the employees at some petrol pumps are not wearing masks. This increases the risk of corona disease.

No mask, no fuel'' sign had been put up in front of petrol pumps in the city. The municipal corporation and police administration allowed opening of fuel pumps only on the condition of giving petrol and diesel to motorists who wear masks. However, the scribe of this newspaper noticed that strict adherence to ''No Mask No Fuel'' was not taking place at the city''s fuel pumps. Apart from this, no social distance was maintained at any of the pumps. At some petrol pumps, employees were giving petrol without wearing masks. But there were some exceptions. It was found that only 40 per cent of the vehicle owners who came to the pump were wearing masks. Similarly, the washrooms at some pumps were locked while some pumps had a common toilet for men and women. Petrol pumps at the railway station and Shahganj had no bathroom facility. Rules were not followed at any petrol pumps.
