Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

The Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Municipal Corporation (CSMC) officials settled 122 property tax disputes at the ongoing tax assessment and evaluation camp at T V Centre Ground on Saturday. The camp began on Friday and on the very first day, the disputes of 111 properties regarding property tax were settled. The tax relief camp was launched under the guidance of the municipal commissioner G Sreekanth by the deputy commissioner Aparna Thete and it will conclude on Sunday.

It has been noticed that out of the total disputes settled so far, 79 cases were related to Lok Adalat and 67 were of different types. Meanwhile, the civic officials clarified that if the residents did not register any objections to the tax bill served to them, then it would be considered that they do not have any say. Accordingly, the sealing of properties will be launched. However, Thete underlined that the administrator has ordered action against residential properties.
