Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar

This Valentine’s Day, love was in full bloom literally as couples across the city swapped traditional roses for intricately designed ones. With “I Love You” inscribed in elegant patterns, these embellished roses turned simple gestures into grand expressions of affection. Priced between Rs 80 and Rs 250, they flew off the shelves, far outshining plain roses, which sold for Rs 30 each.

Young couples stepped out in their best attire, favouring restaurants over college campuses for their meetups. Malls and eateries embraced the festive spirit with themed decorations, while gift shops overflowed with customers hunting for the perfect presents. High-end combo sets including greeting cards, perfumes, T-shirts, and personalized pens were in high demand among those eager to make an impression.

Love at Bibi Ka Maqbara

At the historic Bibi Ka Maqbara, newlyweds and couples exchanged roses and captured picturesque moments. However, not all lovers felt at ease. Fear of moral policing led many young couples to avoid popular public spots like Siddharth Garden, opting instead for quieter, more discreet locations outside the city.
