Companies in Waluj industrial area have started distributing bonus to the workers. Many companies distributed bonus even before the unions raised their demands. The markets in Waluj may see a huge rush starting Saturday.

Like every year, discussions were going on in the trade union office bearers and company management for giving bonus to the workers before Diwali. This year, however, the unions received a pleasant shock as the company management initiated the process of bonus distribution before the office bearers raised the demand. With the unlock, industries in the industrial sector have started anew, and the economy is slowly recovering. This Diwali, the workers in the industrial city are also happy as they are getting bonus without any struggle and delay. Bajaj Auto, and Varroc Engineering has taken the initiative to give a bonus of Rs 25,768 to the workers. ICS workers are getting bonus of Rs 16,800, Wipro workers Rs 27,200, Endurance (Plant B-2) and Plant (L-6) workers will get Rs 26,000 each and Ipca Laboratories has distributed bonus of Rs 25,530 informed founder president of the Maharashtra Kamgar Vikas Sanghtana Pradip Jaiswal, secretary Ramkisan Shelke, state vice president Ganesh Ghorpade and Shivshankar Sagat. New Panther Kamgar Sena founder Anil Jabhade said that the workers of Durovalve got Rs 25,769 and Midas Care Pharmaceuticals Rs 30,000. Workers will start Diwali shopping from Saturday said the members.
