Aurangabad, July 1:

Ladies Wing of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind organised ‘Eid Milan Get Together’ programme on Wednesday at Markaz-e-Islami, Younus Colony on Wednesday for prominent women of the city.

The programme started with the recitation of the holy book Quran along with its translation in Marathi by Yasmeen.

The program was presided over by women personalities from different backgrounds in the city like

Adv Jaishree Ingle-Shinde, Medha Padhye, Dr Seema Dahad, Dr Anjali Kade (department head of Paediatrics, MGM Hospital), Dr Madhura (Paediatrician MGM), Shakeela Madam, Vimal Visputhe, Nirmala Nimbhore, Chaya Jadhav, Suman Pawar, Rajani Dehade, Dr Aarti Shyamlal Joshi (journalist), Chitra Prakash Thorat (beautician) and Aashaa Dhage and others were present.

JIH ladies wing representatives Faheemunissa, Ruhina Imtiaz, Fatema Attas, Sajeda Parveen, Nishat Anjum welcomed the dignitaries.

The dignitaries praised and appreciated activities performed by JIH women's wing.

JIH Women's Wing South Zone president Shaista Quadri elaborated on the concept behind fasting and the essence of Islamic principles.
