Aurangabad, Dec 14:

Labour leader, M A Gaffar was felicitated with the prestigious Shram Gaurav Award given in the memory of the founder of Rashtriya Mill Mazdoor Sangh, Mumbai, G D Ambekar.

The award was presented by labour minister Bacchu Kadu and former minister Sachin Ahir in a function held at Mahatma Gandhi Sabhagruha, Parel, Mumbai recently. The Jeevan Gaurav award was given to Bank Employees leader Vishwas Utgi, Mumbai. Similarly, Mahesh Sevlikar (Aurangabad) received the award in the category social work, Sanjay Gorde (Nashik) in literature and Makrand Naik (Raigadh) and Monika Andhare in Arts and Sports fields.
