Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar-based Marathwada Accelerator for Growth and Incubation Council (MAGIC) made a strong mark at DIPEX 2025, held at COEP Technological University in Pune from April 3 to 6.

The event provided a dynamic platform for MAGIC to showcase its startup support systems, engage with student innovators, and promote entrepreneurial awareness across Maharashtra. Organized by Srujan Trust and Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), DIPEX is a long-standing state-level working model competition. This year’s edition saw participation from over 3,000 students and 350 innovative projects, attracting 50,000 visitors from across Maharashtra and Goa. CM Devendra Fadnavis inaugurated the event and commended students for addressing critical issues like climate change through innovation. “Maharashtra leads in the number of startups and investments received. Tier-2 and tier-3 cities are the new innovation hubs,” he said. Themed around mobility, energy, medtech, agritech, and cybersecurity, DIPEX 2025 was supported by AICTE, Maharashtra State Innovation Society, Skill Development Department, COEP Technological University, and SPPU.

MAGIC, as an ecosystem partner, guided students on startup incubation, funding opportunities, and business development. Representatives Krishna Tekale and Shashikant Tiwari interacted with students, while Director Ashish Garde held discussions with AICTE chairman T. G. Sitharam, SPPU vice-chancellor Dr. Satish Gosavi and srujan trust chairman Ram Bhogle and others were present. Garde emphasized the importance of collaboration between academia, industry, and incubators. “DIPEX 2025 proved how such synergy can convert student projects into scalable ventures,” he noted.
