Aurangabad, Dec 12:

Marathwada Shikshak Prasarak Mandal (MSPM) organised a mega blood donation camp at Deogiri Institute of Engineering and Management Studies (DIEMS) on Saturday to celebrate 80th birthday of Sharadchandra Pawar.

MSPM decided to conduct the camp, taking into a shortage of blood across the State. Teaching and non-teaching staff members and students donated blood in the camp which was conducted the guidance of institute director Dr Ulhas Shivurkar.

A total of 86 bottles of blood were collected by Blood Bank of Government Medical College and Hospital and Lions Blood Bank. MLC and MSPM general secretary Satish Chavan inaugurated the camp.

Its treasurer Dr Avinash Yelikar, Principal of Deogiri College Dr Shivajirao Thore, Dr Satyavan Dhondge, Dr Rajes Auti and others were present.
