Aurangabad, Nov 1:

Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) initiated an inquiry a month back to investigate grabbing a provident fund (PF) amount of retired employees. However, the investigation is delayed as the matter has several complications. Moreover, the administration has not registered a complaint with the police despite complaints from the other retired employees.

It may be noted, MSRTC clerk with the help of his accomplice murdered a driver after it was unveiled that his PF amount was misappropriated by them, in July. After that, many retired employees came forward and stated that their amount would have also been misappropriated in a similar way. Now, after two and a half months of the murder, two retired employees have lodged complaints to the divisional controller that they have been duped of their PF amounts of Rs 2.80 lakh. The administration told that a complaint will be lodged with the police after the inquiry is completed. However, the inquiry has not been completed yet.

Divisional controller Arun Siya said the inquiry is going on. A thorough investigation is being done and a complaint will be lodged after finding the facts.
