Aurangabad, Nov 9:

BJP State unit president Chandrakant Patil alleged that Maha Vikas Aghadi had failed to provide any relief package to daily wage earners who were affected due to implementation of lockdown.

Addressing a press conference here on Monday, Chandrakant Patil announced the name of BJP candidates for three graduates and two teachers constituency Legislative Council elections.

Shirish Boralkar was given the party’s ticket for Marathwada Graduates Constituency election while Sandeep Joshi was fielded in Nagpur, Nitin Dhande in Amravati and Sangram Deshmukh in Pune. union Minister Raosaheb Danve, MPs Bhagwat Karad and Pritam Munde, MLAs Haribhau Bagade,Sambhaji Nilangekar and Atul Save.

BJP city unit president Sanjay Kenekar, Vijay Autade, Bhagwan Ghadamode, Sameer Rajurkar, Pramod Rathod and Anuradha Chavan were present.He said that farmers suffered huge losses in different parts of the State, including Marathwada due to heavy rainfall.

“Neither farmers nor daily wage earners received any financial help. Around 2800 barbers have ended their lives in the State after the implementation of lockdown. Even employees of Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation are not satisfied as they are not getting full salary. The Central Government made all efforts to help affected class like providing ration free up to November month while the State Government has not done anything,” he asserted.

On the point of the poor financial condition of the State, he replied that the State Government had a facility to take loan Rs 1,65,000 lakh crore from the Centre.Patil was asked about the possibility of rebellion for not giving a ticket to Pravin Ghuge and absence Pankaja Munde, he said that she had informed him through a mobile message that she is busy in sugar factory work.

He said that if justice is done with one person, others will be upset.On a question of rebellion by Munde supporters on social media, he said that activists write in the love of leader, this does not mean that she is upset.

On not giving a ticket to Kishor Shitole who is Patil’s supporter, he replied that he did not provide ticket even to his supporter and this has proved after the announcement Boralkar’s name.
