Aurangabad, March 30:

“Inclusive and balanced development formula will be useful for the progress of Marathwada,” said Dr Manisha Karne, advisor to Centre in Rural Development in Backward District of Marathwada University.

She was speaking at the valedictory ceremony of a two-day national level seminar on ‘District Planning for Tapping Development Potential’ organised jointly by Economics, Political Science and Sociology Departments of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University on Tuesday. Earlier, vice-chancellor Dr Pramod Yeole inaugurated the seminar.

Registrar Dr Jaishree Suryavanshi said that national development is not possible without removing regional imbalance. Dr Shivaji Sangle was also present.

The researchers felt that the availability of basic facilities and the development of Marathwada is not possible without political willpower.

Dr Kritika Khandare and Dr Ashok Pawar conducted the proceedings. VC Dr Pramod Yeole released the research journal also.

Chief coordinator of the project Dr Dhanashri Mahajan proposed a vote of thanks.
