Aurangabad, Nov 23:

Former chief minister and leader of the opposition, Devendra Fadnavis took oath as chief minister early morning on November 23, 2019. On the first anniversary of this occasion today, Fadnavis clarified that the people will not see the early morning oath ceremony now. The decision in this regard will be declared at right time. The mystery of this ceremony will be brought to the fore through a book, he mentioned.

Fadnavis was in the city for the canvassing of the BJP candidate for the Marathwada Graduate Constituency elections and activists’ convention. He was speaking at a press conference here on Monday.

Answering to a question, he said, such events should not be kept in the memory for a longer period. The present government shall dream of longer tenure, but it is not the government elected by the people. Hence, I will not say anything about how long it will run.

Speaking about Corona, as the opposition, we have brought the mismanagement in the administration to the fore. Why they felt bad when asked to open temples, there was no delay in opening the liquor shops. Social distancing should be followed in the temples, and should be closed if it is not followed. Efforts should be taken that the second wave of Corona should not come. Corona is on a rise in Delhi due to cold and pollution. It will be better if a vaccine is available by January end, Fadnavis said.

Speaking about the Karachi Bakery at Mumbai, he said, we think of a united India, and one day Karachi will be in India.

State BJP president, Chandrakant Patil clarified the criticism of MP Sharad Pawar. Speaking on it, Fadnavis said, the issue is over now, even the prime minister also has the same respect like Pawar. When Shiv Sena, Congress, NCP speaks about the prime minister, they never feel anything. Water resources minister read a poem on prime minister in the house, he said.

Pankaja Munde will not oppose Boralkar

Former minister Pankaja Munde will not oppose Shirish Boralkar. She had decided to give the candidature to Shirish while he was the state president. Hence, there is no issue of dissatisfaction. She had talked with the state president about her absence from the activists’ convention. Ramesh Pokale is not the BJP candidate, and he has rebelled. We are with the BJP candidate, and this issue has been taken to the party committee. The state president will decide on it. Jaisinghrao is the senior leader, but he was always unstable. Such people can never remain calm and stable anywhere, Fadnavis mentioned.
