Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: The scholarship examination for students of Classes 4 and 7, conducted by the Maharashtra State Council of Examination (MSCE), will be held across 85 centres in the city on April 26.

A total of 6,378 students from Class 4 and 5,378 from Class 7 will appear for the examination. The examination is being conducted under the guidance of Education Officer Jayshree Chavan. The test comprises two papers. The first paper will be conducted from 10.30 AM to 12 PM and the second from 1.30 PM to 3 PM.

Students who qualify will receive a scholarship from the State Government for the following year. Additionally, successful students from rural areas will be allowed to pursue further education at government-run Vidyaniketans in the city.

Parents have been urged to drop and pick up their children on time and to take precautions against the heat.
