Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

In the Jawahar Colony area, near Chetak Ghoda, a palm tree in front of a hospital was illegally cut down. The adjacent fig (Umbar) tree was also hacked and left half-cut. As a result, the Municipal Corporation’s Tree Committee has issued a notice to Dr. Ramakant Bembde. The notice states that an explanation must be submitted within two days, failing which action will be taken.

Dr. Bembde runs a hospital in the Jawahar Colony area, and a complaint was filed with the Municipal Corporation’s Tree Authority alleging that the palm tree in front of the hospital was cut and that the fig tree was damaged with an axe. After verifying the complaint, the Tree Authority issued the notice.
