Aurangabad, June 15:

Parents Association of Woodridge High School, Kanchanwadi, demanded that online learning should be restarted until the probe is completed.

A delegation of parents submitted a memorandum to deputy director of education Anil Sable on Tuesday stating that the school management should be directed to release the withheld result of the last academic year and return the collected fee with a fine from it. A group of 51 parents sought justice for their children and threatened to stage agitation if their demands were not fulfilled.

In the memorandum, it was stated that students online education was held for the academic year 2020-21 due to lockdown.

“However, the school did not conduct online or offline education in the first lockdown. The classes were restored in August 2020 but, the schools demanded full fees. The executive committee of the Parents Teachers Association was not formed as per the norms. The school increased fee by showing through calculation,” the parents mentioned in the memorandum.

The school was found guilty during the probe of the education department done in 2015 and 2020. The parents demanded an audit of fees collected illegally by the school and the minister of State Bachchu Kadu’s orders for the probe orders. When contacted, School vice-principal Yogesh Brahmapurikar refused to comment on the matter.
