Aurangabad, June 8:

The workers and industrialists in Waluj and other industrial areas have heaved a sigh of relief after unlock. The daily life in the industrial area had come to a standstill for the past two months. Although there were no restrictions for the companies, they were struggling with lack of manpower and raw material. With the unlock from Monday, there was a positive atmosphere among the entrepreneurs and workers of the industrial area.

The first wave of corona left many small and large companies in a financial crisis. To make way for this crisis, companies gave layoffs to large numbers of contractual workers. This left thousands of workers unemployed. Hence hundreds of workers left for their hometown. Later in March, the industries were hit by another wave. However, the production of the industrial area continued. But thousands of small and medium enterprises had to stop production due to lack of raw material. So the industry did not start at full capacity. With the announcement of unlock in the district and other cities from Monday, the entrepreneurs expect the situation will return to normal soon.

With unlock, all kinds of industries have started with all the covid safety measures. The industrial economic cycle will gain more momentum in the coming days, said Rajesh Joshi, regional officer, MIDC.

Whether it is recession or coronavirus, the entrepreneurs and workers in the Aurangabad industrial area have always come together to overcome this crisis. With this same positive thinking, the industries will work more vigorously, said Shivprasad Jaju, vice president CMIA.
