Aurangabad, Mar 1: Keshav Metals Pvt Ltd CEO Raman Ajgaonkar has been elected new chairman of Confederation of India Industry (CCI) Marathwada Zone for the year 2021-22. Prasad Kokil, managing director, Eco Sense Appliances Pvt Ltd and Sanjay Group has been as Vice Chairman.

An amateur Yoga practitioner, Ajgaonkar is also an independent director at Marathwada Auto Cluster. Keshav Metals is a leading manufacturer of CRCA steel strip coils. Ajgaonkar takes over as chairman from predecessor Mukund Kulkarni, director, Expert Global Solutions Pvt Ltd.

Kokil has been leading various important panels and committees in CII Marathwada zone on energy and environment, society initiatives, mentor or MSMEs to technology upgradation. He is also vice-chairman Auric Skill Foundation, DMIC Aurangabad. He has authored research papers on topics like ‘Biomass stove’ and ‘Design and analysis of energy efficient crematorium.’ Sanjay group companies are auto part manufacturing units for 2/3/4/wheeler auto OEMs.
