I am deeply saddened by the passing of this great and iconic industrialist. He has left an indelible mark on all who knew him and on industrialists like us. I was closely associated with him in day-to-day official work when I was working as an employee of Bajaj Company. He was the best people’s manager. Although he had a high legacy, he never showed it off. The setting up of Bajaj Co. has changed the scenario of development. It changed the pace of industrial development. The CII activities gained during his period. He took CMIA to different levels. Maha Expo started to be conducted due to his efforts. He was also instrumental in establishing Nath Valley School, Kamalnayan Bajaj Hospital and Kalasagar.

Gautam Nandawat (Past President of CMIA):

He was a very punctual, warm, caring and down-to-earth person. His official day would start at 7 am. I rubbed shoulders with him in the capacity of Secretary when he was CMIA President. He used to engage in meticulous planning for the work to be done daily.

Indeed, he played a vital role in the progress and prosperity of the district and region. To provide job opportunities, he established Bajaj Auto Company. To provide quality education to youth, he established Nath Valley School. To provide quality healthcare facilities, he established Kamalnayan Bajaj Hospital and to promote classic and cultural talent and activities, he established Kalasagar. On a personal level, he referred me to Breach Candy Hospital (Mumbai) when I was undergoing a medical emergency.
