Aurangabad, Dec 17:

The revenue department squad seized 5 trucks involved in the illegal sand transportation at Ranjangaon Shenpunji on Wednesday. The action was executed by Vaijapur’s sub-divisional officer Manik Bhadane, talathi Rahul Vanjari and others at Kamlapur Shivar. The squad found five trucks laden with sand in the farm of Subhash Shivram Hiwale. The trucks owned by Shailesh Shakher Gaikwad (MH20 EL 1218), Kadir Kalim Patel (MH12 LT 5562), Lalait Manit Rajut, (MH 20 BB 9700), Subhash Shivram Hiwale (MH 20 CT 3387) and Nathabhau Kujar (MH 20 CT 7978) were seized. The officers told that punitive action will be taken against the truck owners.
