Aurangabad, Jan 1:

In all, Rs 8.42 crores funds have been sanctioned for the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) from the District Annual Scheme for purchasing equipment and other articles.

Earlier, Rs 12.57 crores were sanction from the scheme, but due to the measures for Corona, Rs 4.15 crores were deducted from it and hence as per the new decision, Rs 8.42 crores have been sanctioned for GMCH.

Meanwhile, the GMCH has demanded to replace old six slide CT Scan machine with new 16 slide CT Scan machine, anesthesia work station and sonography machine. Recently, GMCH has received 128 slide CT Scan machine. The administration is trying to replace the other old CT Scan machine with the new one.
