Aurangabad, May 28:

The new e-filing portal for income tax will be launched from June 7. This fast-paced portal will provide six facilities to income taxpayers.

The number of income tax payers is increasing and the IT department is also upgrading its technology. The new e-filing portal will be launched from June 7. The fast processing of the income tax returns will enable quick refunds to tax payers. A call center will be set up to solve the problems of the taxpayers. All important work links on the portal will be made available on a single dashboard. In particular, paying income tax will be made easier. The department has claimed that the tax can be paid through credit card, UPI, RTGS, NEFT. The portal will speed up the filing of income tax e-returns, CA Rohan Achalia said. The current income tax portal will be completely closed from June 1 to 6. The CA has advised taxpayers to complete their work before the schedule.
