Aurangabad, October 31: Stepping Stones High school conducted a special virtual assembly on Gender Equality, recently. Superintendent of Police (Aurangabad Rural) Mokshada Patil was the guest speaker during the assembly conducted by the Class 11 students.

School Principal Dr Angelo Michael D’Cruize welcomed and introduced SP Patil. Young Steppers started the assembly by sharing that the woman is an important pillar of society as she has the power to create, nurture and transform. An inspiring skit on Gender Equality was screened conveying the message “Gender Equality is not a goal in itself rather it is a precondition for promoting sustainable development.”

Mokshada Patil shared her experiences, the challenges that she has faced in her career and her success story to motivate children. She inspired one and all with her thoughts and motivational words. Students interacted with her during the Question and Answer session.
