Aurangabad, Nov 10:

On the occasion of Diwali, the state transport corporation will release 50 extra buses daily on various routes including Pune, Akola, Nagpur and Amravati from November 11 to 22, informed the divisional controller Arun Sia on Tuesday.

Passengers are likely to throng the bus stands on the occasion of Diwali. Thus the state transport corporation has planned to release extra buses on a daily basis. Extra buses will be released from Aurangabad on various routes including Pune, Akola, Nagpur and Amravati. A large number of people go from Aurangabad to Pune for education and jobs. Sia said that extra buses are being sent to Pune to carry passengers to Aurangabad. City also has a large number of people from neighboring districts including Marathwada for jobs, business and education. They prefer to go to the village for Diwali. Hence the number of passengers is likely to increase in the next few days.
