Aurangabad, Nov 7:

The new office of Zilla Parishad Primary Teachers’s Credit Cooperative Society was inaugurated at Harsul T-Point recently. Society chairman Santosh Tathe made an introductory speech.

Pravin Lohade conducted the proceedings while secretary Rashid Beg proposed a vote of thanks. Office-bearers and members of the society were present.

Meanwhile, Shikshak Sanghatna Samanvay Samiti alleged that irregularities were done in the construction of the building. The Samiti threatened to stage agitation in front of joint-registrar of Cooperatives on November 10 if action is not taken against the guilty directors of the Society.

Samiti said that process like appointing architecture, inviting tender was not follows, TDS was not deducted while making payment to the contractor.

In a memorandum submitted to the join-registrar of Cooperatives, stated that approval for the estimated was not taken from sub-registrar’s office nor construction committee had the approval of the board of directors.

Dilip Dakhne, Kailas Gaikwad, Vijay Salkar and others signed the memorandum. Santosh Tathe said that they had to complete the construction as a notice to seize the property was served to us. He claimed no irregularity was done in the construction.
