Aurangabad, Jan 30:

Thieves broke into a house of a soldier at Wadgaon in Waluj Mahanagar area and made of with valuables worth Rs 45,000.

Sambhaji Uttamrao Ghuge (Mata-Pita Housing Society, Wadgaon) is a soldier in the Army and presently posted at Faridkot, Punjab. On January 12, his wife had gone for a marriage ceremony and returned in the afternoon. She found that the lock of the house was broken and when she entered in the house found that the articles were scattered everywhere. The jewellery and the cash, all amounting amounting Rs 45,000 from the cupboard were also missing. A case has been registered at the Waluj MIDC police station while ASI Gautam Khandagale is further investigating the case.
