Traffic jam on Sangramnagar flyover and below
Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar
A massive traffic congestion was reported under the Sangramnagar flyover on Saturday at around 6.45 pm.
The situation led to long queues of vehicles both on and below the flyover, with traffic remaining disrupted for nearly half an hour. Commuters faced significant delays as it took considerable time to navigate through the jam. Vehicles coming from Shahnoormiya Chowk via the flyover and the lower road, along with traffic from Renuka Mata Kamani area, High Court Colony, and MIT flyover, converged simultaneously under the Sangramnagar flyover, worsening the situation. As a result, vehicles lined up from Shahnoormiya flyover midpoint to below the Sangramnagar flyover on one side, while on the other side the queue extended up to the PWD Colony near Beed Bypass. Motorists were severely affected due to the gridlock, with traffic movement coming to a near standstill in the area.
