Aurangabad, Dec 17: Udyan Shalini Fellowship (USF), Aurangabad conducted a series of workshops for beneficiary girls in November. The girls were taught how to be prepared for an interview by Aditya Chawla. They were taught about the etiquette, presentation, physical appearance and how to confidently reply to the questions.

The girls were also taught how to manage the workplace bias by Sangeeta Datta. They were made aware of the problems faced by women in the workplace and how to deal with them. They were also briefed about their legal rights.

The second year Shalinis benefitted a lot by learning about teamwork from Subhalaxmi. ’’Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence win championships,” she said urging girls to work as a team to get the best results.

To develop leadership qualities in Shalinis, a workshop was conducted by Sudha Suryadevra who spoke about all the traits and basic types of leadership like autocratic, bureaucratic, and democratic leadership with lively examples. She also emphasised on communication skills for effective leadership.

During Diwali, Shalinis distributed handmade diyas, thank you cards in the honour of corona warriors at Kamalnayan Bajaj Hospital, Vihan Care and Support (working for HIV people) and Astha Foundations Old age Home.
