Noted microbiologist from New Delhi Dr Anita Chakravarti opined that vaccination is the major alternative to fight against Delta Plus Virus. She was delivering an online lecture on the Delta Plus Variant organised by Women’s Doctors Wing IMA, Aurangabad and Apulki Pariwar, Nanded. Dr Chakravarti pacified the queries and the fear about the virus among the audience.
The genetic structure of the Coronavirus is changing rapidly. How effective will be the vaccines on these new virus cannot be said, but it will be definitely beneficial. Hence, the residents should get the vaccines available. Doctors’ wing president Dr Ujwala Dahiphale made an introductory speech, secretary Dr Shilpa Asegaonkar introduced Dr Chakravarti while Vijay Bhusari proposed a vote of thanks.
