Aurangabad, March 8:

Various development works were started at Pandharpur on Sunday on the occasion of the birthday of the Zilla Parishad (ZP) member and standing committee member, Ramesh Gaikwad. The foundation stone of these works were laid on the occasion. ZP President, Meenatai Shelke, vice president L G Gaikwad, chairman Avinash Galande, ZP member Syed Kalim, P.S. member Shamimbee Chaudhary, sarpanch Reshma Shaikh and others were present.

These work included Rs 80 lakh for cement road, street lights and classrooms, Rs 34 lakh for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Dr Babasaheb Ambeedkar statues.

Health Check-up, blood donation camps and other events were organized to mark the occasion.

Mehboob Chaudhary, K V Gaikwad, Prakash Nikam, Harun Chaudhary, Babasaheb MIsal and others were present.
