Aurangabad, June 14:

Following a petty quarrel with his wife over dinner, a watchman ends his life by hanging to the ceiling fan at Rananagar on June 13 at midnight. The deceased has been identified as Natha Bhavrao Londhe (39, Chandan Apartment in Rananagar).

Police said, " Natha was working as a watchman at Rana Sheth's Chandan Apartment in Rananagar (near old Mondha). On Sunday, he came home late in the night, and while having dinner, he had arguments with his wife over the untasteful vegetable dish she has prepared for all. Later on, he went to sleep in the front side room, his wife, daughter, and son were sleeping in the next room and her mother-in-law was sleeping in the gallery. At around 1.30 am, the mother-in-law got woke up and was surprised to see Natha hanging to the ceiling fan of the room. She started shouting and all of them got woke up.

He was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) but died while undergoing treatment at 4.30 am. Pundaliknagar police station has registered a case of accidental death. Further investigation is on by police.
