Anand Anna Dhage (31, Ashoknagar, Sindiban) died on the night of Monday after falling from a 30-foot-high metal sheet at a company. The police have arrested four of his friends, holding them responsible for encouraging him to climb, which led to his death.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Yogesh Dashrath Lahane, Sonu Shinde, Sachin Sanjay Dhage, and Sanjay Balaji Dhage (all residents of Ashok Nagar). On March 3, Anand went out with his friends at around 9 pm. By 2 am, his family was informed of his accident. They rushed to the hospital, only to find that Anand had already passed away. His friends claimed that he fell from the roof of the Asmantara company. Anand’s sister, Kavita, went to the company and alerted the security guard. Upon inspection, blood stains were found inside the premises, revealing the truth behind the accident. The accused had encouraged Anand to climb onto the roof of the closed company. Since the metal sheet was old, it broke, causing Anand to fall 30 feet. His mother suspected that his friends had pushed him off the roof and lodged a complaint with MIDC Cidco PI Gajanan Kalyankar. Based on the complaint, the police registered a case against the four, holding them responsible for his death. PSI Jagannath Mendkudale later tracked them down and arrested them.
