Aurangabad, April 9:
A youth was found dead in the graveyard at the backside of the Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) on Friday morning. The youth was brutally murdered and his one hand was cut. Stabbing injuries were seen on the body.
It is said that this 23 years old youth is Vikas Devichand Chavan from Pathardi in the Ahmednagar district. He had come to the city to attend a bank exam scheduled on Friday at 8 am. On receiving the information, the City Chowk police, crime branch police, DCP Nikesh Khatmode Patil and other officers rushed to the spot and took the body in their custody. Meanwhile, the police searched for his hand, which was cut from the body all over the graveyard but did not find it. The police have started the investigation in this regard, and further details are awaited.
