Amid criticisms over his captaincy and Pakistan’s poor on field performance, skipper Babar Azam has found himself trapped in a sex scandal. The incident came to the limelight after many of his personal photos and audio recordings were leaked online.While the authenticity of the material remains unclear, it allegedly shows a topless Babar in intimate chats with the unnamed woman.The accusation was first posted by verified Twitter account Dr Nimo Yadav, saying: “Babar Azam sexting with GF of another Pakistan cricketer and promising her that her bf won’t be out of the team if she keeps sexting with him is just.

Babar’s captaincy has come under fire recently due to a run of poor performances by Pakistan, who lost 3-0 in a home Test series to England, drew a two-Test series against New Zealand, and then lost 2-1 in an ODI series against the Black Caps.Babar has been embroiled in off-field controversy before.It is important to note that Azam was previously involved in a similar situation. Hamiza Mukhtar, a young woman, had accused him of sexual assault, harassment, blackmail, and other offenses. Mukhtar later removed all of the charges, though. Babar is currently one of the biggest names in cricket and while Babar has been receiving harsh criticism over the scandal, his fans have been very supportive of him. Former Australian Test skipper Tim Paine also got into a similar situation prior to the Ashes in 2021–2022. He was later removed from the position, and he has not been selected by Cricket Australia for any international game.
