Shikhar Dhawan’s Punjab Kings will face the defending champion Gujarat Titans in Match No. 18  on Thursday (April 13). The match will take place at the Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali. Both Punjab and Gujarat have won two matches each out of the total three played in the tournament so far, but are entering Thursday’s fixture on the back of suffering heartbreaking defeats in their last match.

While the Gujarat Titans were on the receiving end of Rinku Singh’s memorable knock, Punjab failed to get the better of Sunrisers Hyderabad, despite skipper Dhawan’s hard-fought unbeaten 99. In a major boost Kisk Livingstone is available for selection and will replace Sikandar Raza. With Sam Curran and Nathan Ellis being the two confirmed selections, it is most likely that Australian batter Matthew Short and Zimbabwe all-rounder Sikandar Raza will make the way for them.
