The BCCI. is contemplating visiting Pakistan for Asia Cup 2023. As a result of the ongoing political tensions between the two countries, India has not toured Pakistan for a long time and even though travelling to Pakistan next year would be subject to approval from the government, it is certainly on BCCI's agenda.
As reported by Cricbuzz, the BCCI circulated a note on the team's plans to feature in several multilateral events for the next year to the state associations ahead of the board's Annual General Meeting (AGM) scheduled to take place on October 18.
In the second half of 2023, Pakistan will host the 50-over Asia Cup following which the ICC Men's World Cup will be hosted by India. The report added that as per the note circulated ahead of AGM, the BCCI seems to be open to travelling to Pakistan for the showpiece event next year.
