Weather continues to spell its cast in Southampton with the start of Day 3 of the World Test Championship in Southampton getting delayed. The umpires have confirmed the next inspection would be at 10.20 local time | 14.50 IST. There doesn't appear to be a drizzle,, but the oufield is unsuitable for play at the moment. The second day of the World Test Championship final ended with India on 146/3. After being put into bat, India openers gave them a solid start putting on 62 for the first wicket.

"We would like to score as many runs as possible but 250-plus will be a reasonable score in these conditions," Rathour said at the day end press conference.
