Pakistan skipper Babar Azam has once again shown his prowess in the 50-over format and maintained the top spot in the ICC men's ODI rankings since July 2021. Babar has scored more than fifty runs eight times in nine matches this year, three of which have resulted in centuries. He scored 679 runs at an amazing 84.87 average. Pakistan won three One-Day International (ODI) series under his leadership. As the captain of the ODI team, Babar has had a memorable year. Pakistan lost only one of nine One-Day International (ODI) matches (against Australia).

Travis Head (Australia) – Travis Head is being seen as a successor after former captain Aaron Finch retired from the 50-over format. It was a year worth remembering for Head. He scored 550 runs in nine matches at an average of 68.75. He scored runs at a strike rate of 112.24, which includes two centuries and three fifties.

Shai Hope (West Indies) – Shey Hope has consistently excelled for the West Indies in the ODI format. He scored 709 runs at an average of 35.45, with three centuries and two fifties.

Shreyas Iyer (India) - Shreyas Iyer has emerged as one of India's most consistent batsmen in ODI cricket since 2022. Iyer scored 724 runs at an average of 55.60 in 17 matches in a calendar year. which includes a century and six fifties.

Tom Latham (wicketkeeper, New Zealand) - Tom Latham added a new dimension to his game in 2022, and he often played the role of a finisher from the number five position. Latham scored 558 runs in 15 matches at an average of 55.80 and a strike rate of 101.27. He has scored two half-centuries and two centuries in a year. Latham was also solid behind the stumps and picked up 16 wickets.

Sikandar Raza (Zimbabwe) - Zimbabwe resurfaced at the international level in 2022, and much of the credit goes to Sikandar Raza. Raza scored 645 runs at an average of 49.61. It includes three centuries and two half-centuries. He also took eight wickets while showing maximum effort in bowling.

Mehidy Hasan Miraz (Bangladesh) - In 2022, Mehidy Hasan Miraz emerged as one of the most consistent all-rounders in One-Day International cricket. Miraz, as usual, bailed Bangladesh out of some difficult situations by bowling as well as batting. He took 24 wickets in 15 matches at an average of 28.20, with a best performance of 4-29. In batting, he scored 330 runs at an average of 66, including a century and a half-century.

Alzarri Joseph (West Indies) - Joseph played a high-quality game for the West Indies in 2022. He played 17 matches and took 27 wickets at an average of 25.70.

Mohammed Siraj (India) - Mohammed Siraj proved himself in white-ball cricket, especially in ODI cricket in 2022. He took 24 wickets in 15 matches.

Trent Boult (New Zealand) – The left-arm pacer has been consistent for almost a decade, and 2022 was no different. Bolt played in only six games in 2022, but he had a significant influence in each of them. He took 18 wickets, and 4-38 was his best performance.

Adam Zampa (Australia) - In Australian white-ball cricket, Adam Zampa completed his year as the highest wicket-taker for his country in ODI cricket.
