Virat Kohli, the captain of the Indian Test team, has not been able to show much brilliance in batting for the last several tests. However, Virat has already set a new record before batting in the first Test against South Africa starting today.

Virat Kohli set the record with a toss in the first Test at Centurion Park. In this Test, the coin toss was in favor of Virat Kohli and at the same time a new record was set in the name of Virat Kohli. Virat Kohli wins the toss today with Test cricket.

In this regard, Virat Kohli broke the record of former captain Mohammad Azharuddin. Azharuddin had won the toss 29 times in Tests. Virat Kohli, on the other hand, has managed to win the toss 30 times in 68 Tests.

Former India captain Mohammad Azharuddin has won the toss 29 times while captaining India in 47 Tests. Azhar is now second only to Virat Kohli in the list.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni is the third most capped Indian captain in Test cricket. Dhoni had won the toss 26 times in 60 Tests.
