Superstar Aamir Khan's longtime assistant Amos passed away on Tuesday after suffering a massive heart attack. Amos who was 60 has been associated with Khan for the last 25 years. Aamir's former co-star from the movie Lagaan,  Karim Haji confirmed the news about the death. Amos is survived by his wife and two children. As per media reports, Amos had recently turned grandfather too.  Amos who had been with the Dangal actor for almost two decades was Aamir Khan's go to. Amos also assisted Rani Mukerji for four years when Khan was away from the film industry.

His last rites were performed in Mumbai in which Aamir and his wife Kiran Rao were spotted paying homage to Amo's family."Amos worked with a superstar but was endearing and simple. He was like this to not just Aamir but everyone. He put everyone at ease and was a wonderful person. He had a wonderful heart, was so bright and a hard worker," Karim told PTI. "He had no major illness, his death is shocking. He died with his boots on. Both Aamir and Kiran are devasted. Aamir had sent us a message and said it is an irreplaceable loss. We were so numb, we will miss him," he added.
