Confirming the cause of death, Dr Pratit Samdani stated that Asha Bhosle passed away due to multi-organ failure at Breach Candy Hospital. Her son, Anand Bhosle, confirmed the news and shared details about her final rites. He informed that the public could pay their last respects at Casa Grande in Lower Parel at 11 am, where she resided, while the last rites would be conducted at Shivaji Park at 4 pm.
