Days after actress Payal Ghosh levelled MeToo allegations against filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, Ghosh met Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari on Tuesday to seek justice in a sexual harassment case.

The actress had held a press conference on Monday with Republican Party of India (RPI) chief and Rajya Sabha MP Ramdas Athawale in connection with the case.

Ghosh demanded Kashyap's arrest and recently said that Mumbai Police is not investigating the matter in a speedy manner despite registering an FIR, just because he is an 'influential person'.

Charges against Kashyap in the FIR include rape, wrongful restrain, wrongful confinement and outraging modesty of a woman.Payal in an interview claimed that Kashyap stripped off in front of her and tried to molest her in 2014.However, Anurag Kashyap has denied all the allegations made by Ghosh. In a series of tweets, he had said, “It took so long to silence me. It’s okay. In an attempt to silence me, you ended up lying so much that you have dragged other women despite being a woman yourself. Maintain some decorum, madam. I just want to say that whatever your accusations are, they are baseless.”
