Senior leader of Pandharpur district and former MLA Sudhakar Pant Paricharak has passed away in Pune. He breathed his last at 11.35 pm on Monday night while undergoing treatment at Sahyadri Hospital in Pune. He was 85 years old. Sudhakarpant Paricharak had contracted coronavirus and was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Pune. 

From the last 2 days he was on ventilator support. All his funeral rites will be performed at Pune according to the guidelines for disposal of dead body of a suspected or confirmed case of COVID-19.
