Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray met Mohan Delkar's family at the Vidhan Bhavan on Tuesday. Mohan Delkar, an independent MP from Dadra Nagar Haveli, committed suicide in a hotel in Mumbai, causing a stir in political circles.
Delkar's family members demanded a thorough investigation into the matter from Uddhav Thackeray. We were not helped by the central government. But now we have full faith in the Maharashtra government. Mohan Delkar's son hopes that the matter will be properly investigated by Thackeray governmen.
However, after Uddhav Thackeray met Mohan Delkar's family, the BJP has taken a dig at the CM. BJP leader Atul Bhatkhalkar on Tuesday tweeted that 25 MLAs were denied entry to the Vidhan Bhavan as they didn't present coronavirus negative test report. Also, MNS president Raj Thackeray was denied entry in the Bhavan as he failed to produce COVID-19 negative test.
Bhatkhalkar said CM met Delkar's family in Vidhan Bhavan, but did he ask for their COVID test report?
"25 MLAs denied entry at Vidhan Bhavan as they did not produce COVID test report!MNS president Raj Thackeray was denied entry. It's great that CM met Delkar's family, but did Uddhavji see their COVID test report? Rules should be same for everyone," Bhatkhalkar tweeted.
