Maharashtra minister for Labor and State Excise Minister Dilip Walse Patil took to Twitter on Thursday to inform that he has tested coronavirus positive.

"Recently i had done Corona test and the reports came positive. I am in good health and have no problems. As a precautionary measure I am taking treatment on the advice of a doctor. I request everyone who has come in my contact with me should get themselves tested," he tweeted.

A few days ago, Eknath Khadse left the BJP and joined the Nationalist Congress Party.During Khadse's joining ceremony was held at the NCP office in Mumbai. NCP chief Sharad Pawar was present at the occasion, including Dilip Walse Patil, who was also present at the event. NCP MP Sunil Tatkare has also contracted corona.

Several members from the Maha Vikas Aghadi government have tested positive for the virus.
