Maharashtra Public Health Minister Rajesh Tope on Wednesday hinted that the state government plans to allow to reopen swimming pools, gyms and shopping malls under 'Mission Begin Again'.

The health department is preparing guidelines for this and the final decision will be taken by the Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray Tope told in a press conference on Wednesday. The state is currently under lockdown till July 31 as a precautionary measure to prevent the spread of coronavirus. However, many industries have been allowed under Mission Begin Again and several economic activities are being restarted in a staggered manner.

Accordingly, the state government is considering reopening swimming pools, gyms and shopping malls which are currently closed. The gym is essential for public health. So, swimming pools, gyms and shopping malls can be started under specific terms and conditions, Tope said.

He also informed that the decision to start local train will also be taken by the Chief Minister. Tope said, the demand to start local service is right but social distancing will not be observed in the train, so the decision on whether to start local train or not will be taken by the Chief Minister.
